It looks like my “Apple Cult: Drinking the Kool-Aid?” and “Apple Cult: Drinking the Kool-Aid? Part 2” articles have angered the iPod fanatics “a.k.a Kool-Aid” drinkers. When I went to submit another article at digg.com by account was removed with all my posts. When I signed up again and tried to submit an article I got this message:
“This URL has been widely reported by users as being regularly used to spam Digg’s submission process and cannot be submitted at this time.”
Let me explain to you how digg.com works. People can post terrible news, but if they have a website with 1,000s of members they can all “Digg” an article and move it to the top. The same is true for sites they don’t like. They can group together and report a site as “spam” even if it isn’t and digg will act without even investigating. I really don’t blame Digg.com because it is a popular site and it is impossible for them to investigate all spam. They take that 100s of people have reported it and act.
This once again proves my point about how fanatical Mac users are. They will go to any means to censor Zune users and slam Zune everywhere they go. Read my Kool Aid articles and you will see what I am talking about.
In the past few days Zune Info launched our Zune Info Forums. We are looking for some moderators. For a list of requirements please go here. The forums have been relaunched to to the vast number of e-mails I get each day asking questions about the Zune player. This forum should help build a community of Zune users that can help each other and share relevant information related to Zune. Please be patient with the forum as it is brand new and will be worked on over the next few weeks. Please post any suggestions in the suggestion box on the forums. I am also looking for moderators! So what do you guys think of the new re-design?
The last site really wasn’t “Zune” themed and was pretty boring and plain. So I kicked it up a notch and hopefully you guys will like it. Now not much has really changed, the forums are going to be offline for a little bit and a few pages are still being sent over from old server ( Zune download page ) and we have a new commenting system, where the comments are threaded so you can reply under a particular comment. Might not be best explanation, so go make some comments and you will see what I mean.
We also have on the side, a featured music box. Hoping to make ZuneInfo a bit more involved in the music side of things and looking for any people who out there who have a great passion for music who would be interested in joining ZuneInfo.com staff. If so, shoot an email off to cooper@zuneinfo.com

Sorry guys for the massive down time of Zune Info.com, we has some major server issues and had to upgrade and move server. All is good now and we are now at our new home at Media Temple. I have some great stories to post soon so keep your eye out for them.
