Some Red Zune news here, first off a nice pic of the Red is the wild (sorta) and its packaging.
And secondly some news that the Red Zune will now after 30 days be sold every where the other Zunes are sold. So it will only be sold at Target and Amazon for 30 days come the 10th.
The Water Melon red Zune is the latest to join the brown, pink, white, black colors of the Zune family. The Red Zune will go on sale come June the 10th exclusively at Target and Amazon. Now don’t ask me why just those 2 stores… I am not really sure why its not just every store but could be GameStop got the Halo Zune so Target and Amazon wanted some exclusive love to! Well they got it, June 10th its when the Red Zune will hit the shelves.

Seems the Zune pretty popular with the laddies, latest figures show the recently released Baby Pink Zune is now the second most popular Zune, right behind the black Zune. The question is, will the limited 100,000 Baby Zunes produced stay that way? Or are we going to see this be a mainstream color?s
My bet is this will become permanent color along with the other 3 colors (black, brown and white) If a product is selling so well why stop?

In our last post about the Halo Zune we showed some pics from New York press even but had no word on if this will be out as a retail version of the Zune. Well it has been confirmed that these Halo themed Zunes are going to be on sale at EB/Gamestop stores. The details so far about whats included with this Zune are:

Halo fans start saving!
Last night my friend at GenerationZune.net was lucky enough to goto a Halo 3 presentation in New York. At this even, while Halo 3 was the main attraction, Microsoft showed of their new Halo 3 edition Zune, with a new box design and a new look on the Zune. Below you can see a bunch of pics.
So what do you think? me personally I would prefer to stick to a normal colored one. However Microsoft has not stated if these will be handed out to select few at press events or sold publicly to celebrate Halo 3 launch on Xbox 360 later this year.
Well didn’t see this one coming, all the talk about red, orange and pink Zunes but then out of left field comes this “Copper” colored Zune. This Zune has appeared on the Office Depot website for same price as all other Zune ($249). Some people are putting this down as a miss labeled Brown Zune, but talking to an Office Depot rep, the word I was told is that this is in fact a new Zune color that just came out while on the other hand after speaking to Zune customer support their word is “I don’t know of any new colors”.
It does look possible to be just a mis-labeled brown Zune, however it does seem a bit to dark to be brown, then again that could be the lighting or something. Either way we will soon find out.
Also where is the green double shot finish? Its looking very orange to me…
