Took a while, but thanks to Jake Ludington who snapped a few pictures showing a real Zune against a real iPod (no more 3d comparisons) The pictures give a much better comparison from all angles of the Zune against the iPod. Clearly the Zune is bigger, but then again most iPod have those skins/covers on to not let the surface get scratched. Either way, you decide.

Update: It appears that the ipod in here is actually one of the new 80 gig iPods, so this might not be the most true to size comparison as ideally it should be up next to a 30 gig iPod.
All these pictures of the front of the Zune, yet no one has seen the back. So here is a picture of the back of a Zune:
So November the 14th comes, you are at the local shop eagerly awaiting to pick up your new Zune, but what is going to be in the
Zune box of yours? Well here is what you can expect to find upon opening the box:
- A USB Synch Cable.
- headphones.
- A soft, micr0-suede-ish pouch.
Charger. The Zune charges via the Synch Cable (To be confirmed)
- A Zune in black, white or brown.
Here are some pictures of the pouches to come with the Zune:
I spent a good part of the day doing up a little comparison chart of iPod and the Zune. Hopefully this can help clear up questions and give people a better view of how the zune compares to the iPod.
To look at the charts, click the link up in the nav, or just click this link.
Also, feel free to spread this around and hopefully people will get a grasp of what the Zune will offer.
Microsoft has started making various accessory product makers official Zune partners, as you can see below that is the little badge that will be placed on the products being developed specifically for the Zune.

And Australian company, VAF has been one of the first company’s to be made an official partner and has already started development on desktop speakers for the Zune. The sleek black speakers known as Octavio are designed to allow music from your Zune to be streamed through the speakers so all in the room can enjoy your rocking out music. The speakers are said to be going on sale in the US late 2006 and will be available at all good retailers. For more information, visit the VAF website and register.

Got our hands on some pictures from the factory where the Zune is being manufactured. So appears testing is over and mass production is well on the way and hopefully Microsoft is going to meet their dead line and have the Zune out on the shopping market shelves before Christmas time.

Here are some cool pictures to give you guys an insight into how Zune HQ, over at Microsoft looks like.
