1 Million Zune Customers by mid 2007

On Wednesday, Microsoft released information that they are setting their sights at selling 1 million Zune unites come end of this financial year (mid 2007). So far this seems to be an achievable goal for Microsoft, judging by the past few weeks of sales since the Zune launched on November the 14th. Its well known that the Zune sales in the online retail market are not going so good, but Microsoft has used their strong partnerships with games shops such as GameStop and EB Games to get a strong retail market presence to help boost their sales.

Still no word if Microsoft is planing on releasing the Zune to the international market be for the end of this financial year, as this would have quite a big impact on the sales if Zune was to be let loose in the strong international market.

[…] Now really? Microsoft still have to reach the million customers target which they set to reach by mid 07. And they are going to launch a 2nd gen only 9 months after just stepping into the market? Very very unlikely. […]
