					<description>I moved out of courtry recently and once again my zune has been giving me problems. I tried along with a family member, (whom is state side) to call Zune direct. The number keeps coming up disconneted. What else can I do? I know longer have the recipt. I'm in the military and have been doing a lot of moving due to deployements. I really dont have the time to keep calling due to malfunction with my zune.</description>

					<description>Man I've had my zune for maybe around 4 months...the screen worked fine and everything and i was satisfyed...i hate how it syncs automatically i find that very annoying..so i was walking to school at EMU and i pulled out my zune expecting to hear some phat beats when my zune decided to take a time out the time thing was scrolling but no music was playing...i then sweated it off and didn't care until i got to the "casa" and the screen turned on then just turned black as midnight...now when i plug it into the computer my computer can't even remember it and says it's unknown..if the zune company could help me out that would be awesome....i can't take many more walks without my Billy Squire - Stroke Me playing...</description>

					<description>OMFG I have been on the phone with zune for over an hour between 3 phone calls.
They say that my zune is not in warranty because the manufactured dates according to the serial number was 10/27/2006
Today is 12/10/2007
My original receipt says I bought it on 12/23/2006
The warranty in the product guide clearly says that the period is 1 year from date of purchase
I've talked to 4 different people.
I am very upset because this damned device has never worked properly from the day I bought it. I've called many times in the past, and they never seem to have a record of my info.
I have to give them everything each time.
It crashes often, it resets randomly, it pauses in the middle of songs, it randomly deletes songs when I sync new music, 
These problems are greatly reduced if I keep it plugged in to a power source, but still prevalent. 
And now to top it all off, I no longer receive sound in my right channel. 
No cause.
I tried several different cables, 
tried restarting it, 
Tried every remedy available.
They don't want to repair it.
They suggest that I buy an extended warranty.

Can you imagine how it feels thinking I am losing $250.00 dollars unless I pay more money?

I will not give up until I get a working zune with no money out of my pocket. 
I will contact the media.
I will sue Microsoft.
They better fix it.</description>

are you saying that if the zune is not working and you bought yours about seven months ago so you are in the year warranty but you don't have the receipt, they won't replace it? people should not be expected to hold on to a little piece if paper for that long just in case something happens. 					<description>I purchased two Zune's for two of my children this past Christmas (2007). I've lost the receipts and my daughter's Zune has a problem with the screen (not broken, just can't see anything). Anyway, am I out of luck trying to get this fixed because I didn't keep the receipt?

					<description>Everyone out there that is having the problem with the screen going black or support telling you that you tampered with or dropped the Zune and they won't fix it.  Please file a complaint with the Better Business Bureua.  When it asks for which division of microsoft use the one with the address in the state of Washington.  Hopefully this will get us some help.  Tell them everything that has been told to you and also request they check to see if this is a design flaw. If enough of us file these complaints maybe something will get done.  Good luck!</description>

And they said they wouldn't accept that?????!!!! Shame on you Microsoft.... I guess if Apple accepts to fix broken screens (which doesnt' happen as much as the Zune) than maybe Microsoft should think about fixing that flaw and REPLACE our Zunes for FREE!!!  If we get enough people to show Microsoft that this is a problem maybe this will happen, but until then...I want my Zune to WORK properly!</description>

					<description>jeff I have had the same problems with my zune I am just out of one year of my purchase and I refuse to pay to have it fixed I have had problems with the zune computer software randomly it will just erase my whole library of music. I thought that when I bought a zune that Microsoft would be very thorough with their software and device but I have been very dissapointed. The whole left channel of my device has gone completely off the wall. I am greatly considering going back to Apple and their Ipod I didn't have as many problems with that and they are much quicker with their software updates.</description>

Watched a movie on it last night and now it will not turn on this morning. I have tried charging it and connecting it to my computer. My computer will not recognize it...says Zune not connected. THIS THING IS LESS THAN TWO MONTHS OLD! I treated it like a baby.

In between my Zune, Windows Vista and my poorly made Xbox Microsoft has lost me as a customer for life. No wonder google and apple are eating MS's lunch.</description>
