Looks more rugged and less scratchable than the iPod. That’s a plus for Zune’s re-sale value. The iPod doubles as a mirror for only a month or so unprotected. :)
Looks like that circle is at the back of where the nav buttons are. Maybe an ergonomic grip thing.
idk wat the cirle is at the back. i just got a zune and wuz curious and googled it. and no, it is not another button. ithink microsoft cud of made it a little thiner, there is a big layer of scratchproof plastic that adds about 1/10 of an inch 2 it. great emp3 player though!

I think its just to get the back off. You know to remove the batteries of things there is that little dint to push out on? I think thats it.
