Zune from a 15 year olds prospective
A small video clip sent in by a user is of him interviewing is 15 year old son about what he thinks about the Zune and the features that should be included or not included. Not much to it, but its is still interesting to see what the younger generation is looking for with in a new portable media player.

And thanks to Michael Gannotti for sharing this.

I’m 15 years old as well and have some ideas on zune, currently i own a iriver h320 and have not found a good enough player to replace it which is why i hope the zune will succeed.
what it needs to succeed is:
- Good Battery life (around 15-20hrs which audio, 4hr+ with videos)
- Storage Space (30GB is good and all but for me it wouldnt be enough, larger HDD would be great)
- Great Screen (I love the screen on the Toshiba Gigabeat, so it should get this)
- Form Factor (it doesnt have to be as small as the ipod but it has to be slim and sleek)
- WiFi (My house is set up for Wireless and it would be amazing is you could just turn it on and you could see it on you network and transfer songs to it with your pc or listen to it through the 360 without any wires!! this wouyld be the killer feature for it and i would be out to buy it the first day.)
- Video (multiple formats, personally i have no videos in .wmv so i would like to have dufferent formats supported)
- Pictures (be able to view jpeg, bmp,gif etc… with slideshow and other features)
- Non Priorety Cable (it would be great to just be able to use a regular USB cable)
- UMS (USB Mass Storage Device) (not everybody downloads their songs from subsriciption services, i buy cds from stores and ocassionally use p2p, i dont wont my music to be constrained by DRM so i would like just a drag and drop feature like on my h320.)
- FM Radio (Self explanitory)
- Microphone (my H320 has a MIC built in and i use it to record stuff like school lectures and it would be a great feature in zune)
these are the main things i want in an mp3 player, but i think that WiFi could completely change the way people look at mp3 players. i really hope microsoft can do good with this and kill the champ that is iPod.
