Microsoft + Ford = Sync

Coming fall 2007 Microsoft and the car company Ford are teaming up to bring you a factory-installed, in-car communications and entertainment system, which will be called “Sync”. The system is set to be installed in a dozen of Fords 2008 car models, including the Ford Explorer and Focus, but is said to expand that to all Ford, Lincoln and Mercury cars in 2009.
I could go on and talk about Sync but I think this advert for the system pretty much sums it all up.

Wow! Bad a$$. I own a Zune and can’t wait for the WiFi to open up more with the firmware updates. Did that video show a WiFi thumbdrive and then the Zune communicates that way?
Well, maybe it was showing that it is USB compatible.
Nonetheless, you can bet I will be upgrading my 2006 Lariat with the SYNC!
