Most movies made today need a decoder to copy the movies to your PC. My question is do I need to buy a decoder first before I buy a converter for my Zune? Or does the converter you buy have it all?

My Zune 80 battery doesn't last anywhere close to 22 hours. Actually I don't think i've got it to last over 10 hours. I never have the wifi on, backlight is set to 3 secs, and volume never exceeds #5 when listening to music. I watched a few videos, but neither exceeded 5 minutes. Just today the battery indicator read half full and it all of a sudden died on me. I hope I didn't get a crappy unit.

Actually I have the exact same problem. I've been trying to research this and I haven't found anything that says different. I was guessing I had a crappy unit as well, but now I know you have the same problem. I really think they are sayin this just to make sells and being paid to say it has a better battery life. I've been trying to find an extended battery but so far I've had no luck. If you find one let me know and I'll do the same, thanks.

Having the same problem with my battery life. I just got back from a drive from Virginia Beach to Long Island, NY. The trip was roughly 9 hours and I started with a full charge. By the time I got home, battery was almost completely dead. Volume did not exceed 6, no videos were played, and to be honest I didn't even have the Zune on the entire trip. Either there are some defective units or this battery just completely sucks.

Short battery life for video too. I had wireless turned off, brightness at medium and I only got 1.25 hours playing an mp4 file before it went dead. That sucks!
