United Kingdom Zune Delayed

Sky News reports that the Microsoft Zune will not be delivered to Europe until 2009. I would say this is due to the high demand for the Zune in the US and Canada and the low supply. So, if you are in Europe you will have to wait until 2009 to get a Microsoft Zune.

Mine is doing the same thing.I got it five days ago at target. I’ve only got to use it twice and it stoped working. I’ve charged it for two days now and its not working, it won’t even turn on I hate the stupid thing. I can’t take it back they’ll just make me trade it for a new one and from what I’ve been reading from different people they all do this so it’s not even worth the money I paid. This suck does any one know wahts wrong with them.

I guess I made a mistake in trusting Microsoft!
My kids asked me for an Ipod but I wanted to offer them the best and bought a Zune trusting Microsoft. Now they tell me that I am unable to access the Zune Marketplace and need to “pirate” CDs if I want to be able to use my new toy…I suppose I should have known that Apple is more customer friendly and international.I could, eventually, understand that sucessfull companies such as Apple try to stop people from buying their products ” cheaply” (an Ipod is 50% more expensive in Europe than in the US)but making it more difficult to use in different time zones, but Zune beeing not yet available here these restrictions are at best “petty” at worse “stupid”.

you dont need to “pirate” cd’s at all - get a grip man - there are numerous reputable websites where you can purchase mp3’s legaly and probably cheaper than iTunes - as for you “trusting” Microsoft, how was your trust misplaced? Did you actually buy the Zune without researching if the Marketplace software was accessable in Europe? I did and still went ahead and bought one, it beats the iPod hands down.

I hate mine I’ve only had it for five days. It won’t charge, it won’t work. I’ve only got to use it twice the first time I fully charged it, it only worked for a hour the second was about the same time. I’ve charged it for two days now and it won’t even turn on. I can’t take it back they’ll only make me trade for a different one. I’ve been reading anything I can about people with the same problems and they’re all going though the same thing. I got it because my ipod broke after two year and i was told that the zune was better but I don’t think so after getting one. I wish I didn’t drop my ipod so much cuz I miss it. It sucks I bought something that dosen’t even work, it wasn’t worth it and I really wanted it to.
