Ebooks on your Zune
If your a bookworm or dont mind the odd book here and there, well here is some news for you. It was hoped by many that Zune team would release a firmware udate eventurally that would allow you to load ebooks (books on a computer, usally in .PDF format) onto your Zune and be able to read it where every you are on the go, unfortunately this has yet to happen or even been talked about to be happening in the near future. So the guys at Instructables.comhave developed a nice little solution to it.
Its pretty simple thing to do, first step is to grab your self a program called jpegbook (download)
So once you have that downloaded and installed hit CTRL + O to load up your docuent (needs to be a text file) then change the output settings to 320 x 240. Now change the output of the file to a folder on yout PC that is monitord by the Zune software. Once all thats done you are set.
Have you tried this? let us know how it went for you.

this is real neat im just wondering how does it work how do u scroll down the page or do you have to put on a bunch of photos and read one at a time?
ya evry page is like a page in a book
u just scroll threw them as if ur looking at pictures
make shure there in order tho
wat the program does is it takes the text and makes it into an image
just like MS paint
I have tried this and it works in a manner of speaking. Basically it turns all the pages into jpegs that can be viewed on the Zune as pictures. So you do have to read one at a time, it would be nice to just scroll down and do all the stuff you can with a regular ebook, but hey, it’ll come some day right?
yes i just tried it and i have over 157 pages of writing
it just creats a picture that u can read
u can
change font
change font color
put a backgroung image
and have unlimited amounts of pages
i love it
it also works wayyyyyy better than that one chicka chat or w/e because u can type w/e u want and have it be 20 sum pages long
i like it
thanx
[…] has kind of a workaround where you convert every page of an eBook to a JPG file and then upload the directory of images. […]
