Free MP3s On Behalf of Zune
Over at ArtistDirect, they have a bunch of MP3’s for free and the whole thing is being sponsored by Zune. As you can see in the image on the right, it includes some popular artists which you would regularly pay 99cents for. Although I do know that Wierd Al’s song is also available on his site for free aswell.
It’s interesting to see that the Zune advertising campaign is going like this. It is a shift from how other Microsoft devices and even Xbox are marketed. Probably the new campaign is to appeal to the typically young adult/teen market.

hey this is neat but i dont think it is sponserd by the zune company b/c if zune was giving away songs it would be on the website or marketplace the only reason i am saying this is b/c if im true ppl might be downloading viruses on their computer.
P.s. oh and also if you guys are thinking i am wrong b/c of how it has the zune logo on it and looks professional then you are wrong b/c im just a teenager and if i could do taht by myself easily. especially if you have a picture software like paint even to wear you can take any picture and paste it on top of another. But hey maybe the website is legit im just warning you all about the risk.
I understand your concern. But I checked out the company and they have a good stable backround.
And the reason that the songs probably aren’t on the Zune marketplace/website because the reason for sponsering it is for people that dont know about it to learn about it.
I still cant guarantee that the site is 100% safe, but I would personnally trust it after learning about the company.
