I don't understand how Google fits into all of this? Anybody have an idea? I'm trying to understand what all of the news articles refer to when mentioning Google, HP, and Intel. Are they also submitting a similiar project to the FCC, or are they working with Microsoft in this?

I also am not sure what exactly is happening. But my understanding is that all 3 companies is behind this. Or it accually may have to do with them wanting to used the extra wireless signals for internet which was mentioned in the MarketWatch articleI think).
