It worked for me only half of the trick! When I drop file into my device, a screen pops out telling me that I don't have permission to create the item.
Can anyone help me out on this?

Here try this:
------------------------

For you guys having the problem, you must open task manager and when syncing half way, quickly end process. It will be stuck at "synchronizing" in the zune itself and will think that windows explorer is your zune app. Now you can sync ANYTHING on the zune

------------------------

Let me know if helps

I just do it with the zune software open... without syncing anything.

Once youre copy/moving files about on the zune in explorer, your zune screen will say "Syncronizing" and that's just due to there being data transfer down the usb cable. (Like when you stream data to your Xbox 360, if you have one.)

That's what i've experienced anyway...
For ages, since this hack has been known...

Cheers bob - that trick worked for me. It could be just in vista

Methos Bob says - Sync something to Zune, then kill the process in task manager while its syncing which jams the zune in sync mode - now you can transfer anything!
