Zune Tutorial: Youtube to Zune Conversion

Easy Youtube to Zune Conversion!!!
By SonicSteam

Want to watch your favorite Youtube videos on your Zune but having trouble finding a good FREE converter??? Well fret no more my fellow Zuners here is the answer to your prayers.

Introducing….

Vixy.net

This website above will give you the ability to convert any given Youtube URL into:

  • AVI
  • MOV
  • 3GP
  • MP4

With no software download necessary!

It will first convert the FLV into the codec of your choice and then will allow you to download the file onto your HDD. The easiest format I found to sync with the Zune was the mp4 which so far for me has worked perfectly.

To view more tutorials or to submit your own head on over to here.

[Thanks SonicSteam]

Wow, I’m trying it as I type. If it works as great as it sounds, this would have to be the coolest site ever because I can get absolutely any video on the web on my zune…for free! Well, I think that they should have one for Soapbox…I’m going to try it in a bit, but I’m waiting for this one to finish first. Thanks a lot for the find.

I tried converting a file from that site, but when i played it on my Zune, it kept flashing white and yellow while the video played. I’m not sure if this’ll happen for EVERY video, and i hope it doesnt, but i just wanted everyone to know. I’ll try another video.

Have a look at getting youtube video http://www.flash-video-mx.com/youtube_google_video_converter/

Because the format of youtube video is flv, so we need a flv to video converter to convert youtube video to zune, such as this flv to video converter at http://www.flash-video-mx.com/flv_to_video_web/, it support batch mode.

Well, I haven’t tried that software yet, but it seems pretty cool, but I want to know how much time it takes to convert a 5 minutes youtubevideo?

I know a good software for converting youtube videos. It is Moyea YouTube to Zune Converter. All you should do is to copy the URL of YouTube video and copy to the specified field for URL. Click the big button on the bottom-right corner, and the conversion begins.
This only limit for the trial version is the watermark on output video.
Try the free trial at http://www.my-video-converter.com/youtube_to_zune/ and the output video could be WMV, MP4.
You can set H.264 as the video codec for MP4, after clicking the “Settings” button. The quality with H.264 is stunning for Zune.

I was VERY excited to discover this site, but unfortunately it has been a let-down. So far, every time I try to process the youtube url I get this same message, “Error: URL resolve error. (YouTube.com is down??)”

Youtube is not down.

What’s up?????
